Jersey!

Harrison loves playing piano with grandpaHarrison, Grandma, and Violet getting a grip on those choppy sticks

Harrison in his father's folding highchair, which was Grandma McKeen's highchair...

We traveled down to NJ to see the McKeen Clan (and Gram and Aunt Marty and Uncle Michael were in town)...so here are some of the pix and videos from our camera (before the battery went out). We also saw Uncle Matt, Aunt Allison, and Isabel (the grand-dog).

BIG THANKS to Gram

BIG THANKS to Grandma and Grandpa for the UHaul and all the help...

Harrison loves playing with his grandma and grandpa, and their neighbor's daughter Violet... and

Harrison's Birthday...

At long last, here are some photos from Harrison's birthday celebration and also a few from his actual birthday, October 20th.  They are a little bit out of order.

Enjoy!

Harrison posing in his "Massachusetts" tee-shirt.  We hope and plan to take a photo of him in this shirt on all of his birthdays.  That is, as long as he will let us.

Harrison "reading" his birthday card from Mama and Dada.

Future Ivy League Student...no pressure.

Opening up some birthday gifts...wooden trucks.

(Again, these photos are all out of order...)
Harrison at the end of his birthday cake.

It took a while, but he finally started to enjoy the cake and getting messy.

That was at one time a little pumpkin.

Not quite sure what to do about it.

At the beginning of it all...Happy Birthday Harrison!  He's so not into the hat.

You've got to love the expression on his face in this one.

Fun on his new bike from Aunt Mindy.

Sheer joy on his face.

Gift time!

How come only Mama is wearing a hat?

Looking back...

Can you believe that Harrison is a year old (as of exactly two weeks ago today)?  We can not.  This year has passed so quickly.  It's amazing that that little, itty baby we brought home from the hospital is now a (almost as he's not quite walking yet) toddler.  It's such a cliche thing to say, but time does fly when you've got a kid.  They grow up so fast.

Here's a link to the original blog we started in Harrison's earlier months.

It's so fun to look at these photos, some of the very first ever taken of him.  There are a lot of other firsts in there too...our first family photo, Harrison meeting his relatives for the first time - Grandmas and Grandpas McKeen and Stephens, Great Gram McKeen, Aunt Candace, Aunt Allison, Uncle Matt, meeting our friends, getting his first bath in his baby tub, first Thanksgiving, first Christmas presents...there's so much.

I can't wait to share all of these with Harrison when he's old enough to appreciate and understand them.

Still to come...birthday and Halloween photos!
