An Afternooon of Firsts...

On Monday afternoon (a year after the day he was "due"), Harrison had the opportunity of visiting Boston and enjoying some guilty pleasures of the city. We went to the Boston Public Garden, walked down Newbury Street, and went to the shops at the Prudential Center. It was his first official trip to the city. We visited the ducks at the garden, did some window-shopping at the high end shops on Newbury, and Harrison got to have some ice cream AND a few bites of some french fries. And the biggest news of all...Harrison had his first official, unassisted steps at the Boston Public Garden, just steps away from the Make Way for Ducklings duckies!!! We had a great afternoon and loved every minute of our old stomping grounds with our little boy. We look forward to many, many more trips into the city with Harrison. I can't wait to take him on the subway for the first time, to his first Red Sox game, and his first visit to the aquarium. There are so many firsts to be had and I'm so excited about sharing all of the great places around here with Harrison.

Update...

Always moving...

On the go...

Sleeping beauties...

Always talking...

Too cute!

Just a little update on the family...

Time is whizzing by.  It's unbelievable that we've been living in Gloucester now for over two months.  Wow!  We're having a great time, but wish time would slow down some...especially as winter is not so far away now.  The house is pretty much settled.  The "library" is still a mess of boxes but we'll get there when we get there...maybe when Jeremy's finished with the soccer season.

Another unbelieveable thing - Harrison is going to be one year old in just a little more than a week.  This week I've been thinking a lot about how quickly this year has gone by.  Our little baby is almost one year old!  He won't even be a "baby" anymore.  He's growing up way too fast.  He's such an amazing little person. Tonight when he had his bath he was so silly.  He's always been a pretty vocal little guy but lately he seems to be getting more so and tonight was just too funny when he was talking a blue streak while having his bath.  He seemed so hyper immediately after his bath while he was getting dried off and dressed into his PJs, but as soon as we were done, he fell asleep almost immediately.  He tuckered his self out with all of his bath-time chatter.  We adore this kid!

Enjoy the pics!

Precious smile with some toofers

The only way to get a still shot (and not always) is when he's in his high chair
