Balloon wrestling

Summer is half over and we enter the third trimester...

Practice with the potty. Mainly, he seems to think it's a toy.

Messy face.

Harrison and Dada share a SnoCone.

Cheerio-hat.

That's what rice and beans will do to the kid's face.

Harrison has quite the love for clementines and is even pretty good at peeling them all himself.

Kisses!

Loves to have his face "shaved".

Two of his favorite things...blueberries and chips.

Time is flying and life is full and busy.

Just a quick update. We're enjoying another summer here in Gloucester. We are loving this house that we like to call our "beach house". It's not on the beach but we can often smell the ocean air and hear the foghorns in the distance. Jeremy is working like a mad man this summer. He's painting and doing handyman work for a family in Manchester during the days and waiting tables at a local pub here in Gloucester in the evenings. Me and Harrison miss him big time. We're looking forward to getting back to our "school" schedule. Both Harrison and myself are growing like weeds. Harrison is turning into quite the tall and skinny little boy. Meanwhile, I'm either looking like I'm due in a month or two or expecting twins. I feel huge but good. Yesterday, we entered our third trimester. It's unbelievable to think about how quickly this pregnancy has passed. It's amazing the difference between this pregnancy and the one I had with Harrison. We do now know that we will be having a little girl. Harrison loves to hear her heartbeat at my check-ups and also likes to talk to my belly. He's going to be a great big brother. He's growing up so fast yet is still my little baby. He's had some major separation anxiety issues concerning Jeremy this summer. When Jeremy is home all he wants to do is be with him ALWAYS. He also wants to do whatever it is Jeremy is doing too. He's learning a lot and now we're just waiting for him to start using his words more. He's got a bunch of words...we just don't understand them all. This last week he started to say something that sounds a lot like "fire truck" or "Friday" or "fried egg". We can't decide which but we are leaning more towards "fire truck" as he is obsessed with trucks and wheels. He's all boy. For the last two weeks, Grandma and Grandpa McKeen were in town for a visit and Harrison had the opportunity to hang out with them quite a lot. We had lots of beach time, a couple of lobsters, and some really good truck and water play. Harrison had a blast and also learned how to "woof, woof", courtesy Izzy. In the coming weeks we will be escaping to Vermont for a weekend to attend our friend's, Alex, wedding and maybe we'll get a visit in with Grandma and Grandpa Stephens too. Before we know it, September will be here and will be buckling down for the Fall and the arrival of little Zelda.

It's been way too long but we are still here...

Just a quick update on a pretty major thing...

WE'RE EXPECTING AGAIN!!!

Baby McKeen #2 should arrive some time mid-November.  We're very excited about adding to our little family.  Harrison will make a great big brother.  I guess we may have to change the name of this blog...

There's more to catch up on but unfortunately I don't have the time at the moment.  Here are some recent picture of Harrison to hold you over.
